BUMBI is a word my family uses when you hit yourself like slamming your knee into the furniture. We usually say it to small/cute things for example, I say it for my dog every time he runs into something and hits himself (he's a bit blind :p).

HOW DO I BEAT WORLD 1 LEVEL 5

I'm reworking the game rn and have made that level easier + the hitboxes more passable 😅 You should be able to go on to the next level if you have a high enough score, you can increase your score by collecting bones + beating the baseline times in the previous levels.

dawg how do i get past level 5 also fix your goddamn hitboxes sometimes i dont even touch a spike and still die

damn. I'm sure the game is great.  I know graphics are not the most important factor of a game but you could have used assets. even free ones would have been better.  Maybe next time.

(+11)

The game is supposed to have a doodly feel like Fancy Pants Adventure. If it’s not your cup of tea that’s ok!

This game is a cunningly crafted series of digital landscapes that resemble the dreams of a geometrician who has had far too much to drink and then decided to design a golf course. Each level is an intricate ballet of jumps, dodges, and leaps, where timing is not merely a suggestion but a strict lifestyle choice.

Bumbi, our protagonist, is not your average hero. No, Bumbi is more akin to a small, determined particle of dust that has decided it’s going to fight the vacuum cleaner. It’s a story not of epic battles or grand quests, but of a single, minuscule creature’s attempt to traverse landscapes that seem to have been designed by someone who had a personal vendetta against straight lines, clear paths and the continuation of life itself.

With a jump that can only be described as ‘optimistically improbable’ Bumbi embarks on a journey across platforms that hang in the air like an awkward silence. With obstacles less welcoming than a tax audit and about as forgiving as a porcupine in a pillow fight. You, the player, a hapless soul in search of victory must navigate these with the kind of precision that would make a Swiss watchmaker weep in inadequacy.

The platforms, which in most games are as reliable as the rising sun, are about as dependable as a weather forecast on a British summer in this game. One moment solid, the next, it’s decided to take a brief sabbatical, leaving little Bumbi to plummet in a manner that’s both tragic and sometimes slightly amusing.

So here’s to Bumbi, a jolly little speck in a universe that seems hellbent on its demise. It’s a tale of perseverance, of countless attempts to conquer the unconquerable, of the joy found not in the destination, but in the hilariously convoluted journey. One might say, it’s not the fall that kills you—it’s the sudden stop on the obnoxious red spike at the end. And in Bumbi’s case, those are plenty, each a small lesson in humility and the art of “trying again”.

I got beat up by a horde of Bumbi behind the Walmart on Sunset Drive. Never did I think to believe they would come in an array of colors. Maybe it’s a hint of customizable DLC updates to come!

But lemme tell you, BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!! Would gladly volunteer to get beat up again. 10/10

OVERALL RATING: 5/5

PERSONAL RATING: 7/5

Do I highly recommend playing this game?: ABSOLUTELY. You’d be kidding yourself if you didn’t.

No thanks necessary cuz you probably (maybe) won’t regardless. 😅😅😅

Is the game fun and exciting? Most DEFINITELY especially if you enjoy slamming into spinny spiky thingys at almost 2 second intervals depending.

And I’m definitely not saying this because I’m being held against my will at Bum Point by the legend itself turn to page 2.

Oh wait, I wasn’t supposed to read that part outloud. 👀

Anyway, don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself and enjoy the WONDEROUS world that is… BUMBI!!!!

Once upon a gloomy time, I was the reigning champ of Sadville, carrying the heavyweight title in the depression league. But then came BUMBI, the game that promised sunshine and rainbows but delivered thunderstorms on a platter. Now, I’m not just the mayor of Sadville; I’ve been upgraded to the supreme ruler of Furious Town.

Imagine, if you will, a game so diabolically designed that it makes you want to throw your computer into the nearest body of water, yet you can’t because you’re too busy trying to beat it. That’s BUMBI. It’s like deciding to pet a cute, fluffy dog only to realize it’s a porcupine.

I rate it 5/5 because any game that can turn a simple slide into a rendezvous with a spike while keeping me hooked deserves some twisted form of admiration.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely.

Will you thank me? Doubtful.

Will you slide into a spike again and again? Without question.

Welcome to the club.
