Hi samyam. Nice scary game!

Thank you so much for playing!!

Comments below clip:

Samyam's short horror game plunges you into a chilling scenario: trapped in a dimly lit room where a relentless threat lurks in the shadows.

Your mission is simple yet fraught with peril: find the ten hidden objects before time runs out, all while dodging the murderous intent of a little girl armed with a knife.

Every creak of the floorboards, every flicker of your fading flashlight heightens the tension as you frantically search for clues and supplies. The batteries scattered around offer a fleeting lifeline, a precious few moments of illumination in the suffocating darkness.

Each decision carries weight, as one wrong move could lead to a swift and gruesome end.

Can you keep your nerves steady and escape this nightmarish trap, or will fear consume you in the darkness and hark in your demise?

Really <3 this game. Well done!

I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved, and thanks for making this very enjoyable game!

Thank you very much! I was the solo developer, and used assets to help me make the game!

Wow! That makes it even more impressive :o]

Played this as part of a scary games with my girlfriend, turns out Iā€™m terrible at looking for things in games!

Thank you again! :")

Mac version had the same issue that your "Barbenheimer" Mac build did, and I "fixed" it the same way.

However, there's other issues. It seems to force itself to an ultrawide resolution, and the frame rate is really slow.

I think these issues might go away if the projects were built on a Mac instead of fixed after the fact, and I'd be happy to do the builds for you if you'd like.

Thank you so much for playing! :D

Its pretty good, waiting for more!

Thank you for playing my game!!

This was an awesome game! The level of polish on the level design was amazing! You can really see the work that went into making the play area. While the enemy isn't the most terrifying antagonist, I did find myself having a feeling of a slightly raised heart rate at the beginning of the game!

UI and game feel were very strong in this game and that's something to be commended for! Very impressing!

Keep up the amazing work!

Thank you so much!! Yes I agree, I did this in around a week and didn't have much time to polish the AI, but I will take that into consideration!

Hello friend, this game is super fun, CONGRATULATIONS, I want you to subscribe to my channel and support me, your help is important to me, count on me for other games, a super greeting!

Thank you for playing my game, great playthrough!

Really love the take on a I Spy style seek and find. The doll isn't the most ruthless killer, but it adds just enough pressure to the game to make it stressful to find everything you need.

I played the game and beat it. The atmosphere by far is its strongest suit. You did a great job with setting up the room and make it "scary". It was a bit crammed in there but I think this was done on purpose to make you feel stuck with the crazy doll girl with the scissors. Here's a summary for what I liked, and didn't like.

What I liked:

1. Great atmosphere. I actually was getting goose bumps

2. The gameplay was straightforward

3. Controls felt good

4. The doll changes her behavior slightly the closer you get to your goal

What I didn't like:

1. The doll movement was getting a bit predictable and it was a little easy to avoid her (Then again, making her more persistent may not work with the small environment)

2. Speaking of the small environment, I was getting occasionally stuck between obstacles. Nothing game breaking, but it was making movement more difficult

3. The flashlight doesn't last very long. I found some extra batteries, but I don't think it was mentioned that the top left bar was actually my flashlight power

4. The beam of the flashlight obscures vision sometimes, maybe reduce it a bit?

5. The picture frame of the house was a bit hard for me to find because there were three versions of it. I didn't know which one was the right one :D

Bugs I noticed:

1. Some graphical bugs on the ground. Sometimes, puddles of blood appear and disappear (maybe some Z-fighting going on there with the renderer)

2. On the later stages, the doll's angular speed is a bit slow, and may be causing some issues with her turning around as she moves faster

Overall, this is a great game. I really enjoyed playing it. I hope I wasn't too harsh with my review, so definitely keep at it :)

Wow thank you so much for the detailed review! This helps me a lot. Yes I agree the enemy AI isn't very advanced, the timeframe for the game didn't give me time to expand on it, and I totally forgot about the angular speed in the latter part. Thank you so much!

I added a jump scare :O
